Translate a transcript

Use Koeva PRO to translate a local transcript into a supported target language without uploading your audio.

How translation works

Translation mode transcribes the source audio locally, detects the source language automatically, then translates the recognized text on your computer. It applies to microphone dictation and system audio capture. Imported media files keep their source-language transcript.

Choose the transcript language that fits your workflow:

  • EnglishEN
  • FrenchFR
  • SpanishES
  • GermanDE
  • ItalianIT
  • TurkishTR
  • JapaneseJA
  • ChineseZH
  • ArabicAR
  • RussianRU

Create a translation

  1. Open Translate in Koeva. This feature requires a Koeva PRO license.
  2. Enable Translate the transcript and choose the target language.
  3. Record microphone audio or capture system audio as usual.
  4. Start processing and review the result in your selected target language.

Performance

Translation runs after local speech recognition and adds a local CPU translation step. It can take longer than transcription alone, especially for longer results. The system requirements and graphics card guidance still apply to speech recognition.
