Capture system audio
Capture the audio playing through a Windows output and save a local text transcript with Koeva.
How system audio works
Koeva can record the audio playing through a selected Windows output, process it locally, and open a save dialog for the resulting text transcript.
Capture an output
- Open Koeva settings and choose the output device you want to capture.
- Set a System audio shortcut. No system-audio shortcut is configured by default.
- Save your settings, then use the shortcut once to start capture.
- Use the same shortcut again to stop capture and wait for local processing.
- Choose where to save the generated text transcript.
Before recording
System audio capture uses the same local speech-recognition path as microphone recording. Translation also applies when it is enabled.
