Use Koeva

Transcribe a file

Use Koeva PRO to transcribe supported audio or video files locally without uploading your media.

Import a recording

  1. Open Audio file in Koeva. This workflow requires a Koeva PRO license.
  2. Choose or drop a supported audio or video file from your computer.
  3. Start processing and keep Koeva open until the transcript is ready.
  4. Koeva detects the source language automatically.
  5. Review the result, then use Download to save the transcript as a text file.

Local processing

Your media file is processed locally on your computer. Processing time grows with recording duration and depends on your graphics card, graphics driver, and power settings.

Prepare your file

  • Use a clear recording with consistent volume.
  • Trim long silent sections when possible.
  • Translation settings do not apply to imported files; downloaded transcripts keep the detected source language.
