Local-first processing
Koeva is designed around local processing. Microphone audio, system audio, supported audio or video files, transcripts, translations, custom spellings, and prompts are processed on your Windows computer instead of being uploaded for transcription or translation.
Online services
Koeva still uses network services for license validation, free-plan usage limits, product updates, purchases, and support. These services are separate from local audio processing.
Protect your files
- Keep your Windows account protected with a password or PIN.
- Store sensitive recordings in an encrypted or access-controlled location.
- Delete recordings and exported transcripts when you no longer need them.
- Only share audio with support when you explicitly choose to do so.
